VISIT OF THE MEDD IN BONGOLAVA REGION.

“Covering Madagascar with forest and transforming the red island into a green island” is the ambition of the Malagasy government. For this purpose, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development has launched reforestation projects throughout the island.

In the region of Bongolava, the MEDD mobilized on April 15th and 16th to see and observe the reality in the field. FLORAMAD’s plantation site was among the reforestation projects visited.

On April 16th, 2022,  we had the great honor to receive the MEDD and their collaborators in order to present our current project entitled «Aromatic Plants and Wooden Energy» as well as our ambition to become a major player in economic, social and environmental development in the Bongolava region. This 200ha planting project, of which 100ha are aromatic plants, is one of our contributions to the sustainable development goals in Madagascar.
