AGRO-INDUSTRY TRADE FAIR IN BONGOLAVA REGION

The first edition of the agro-industry trade fair in Bongolava Region was held in Tsiroanomandidy from May 26 to 28, 2022. The event gathered many economic actors in the primary and secondary sectors as well as the tertiary industry. It was aimed at boosting agricultural production in the region and launching the industrial sector through the processing of local products.

While being an economic operator in the region, Flora-of-Madagascar (FLORAMAD) voluntarily participated in this trade. 

The three days provided an opportunity to present our project, “Aromatic plants and Wooden Energy,” which is located in Andranomadio Tsiroanomandidy. This project is about planting and processing aromatic plants.

In a responsible approach, we still keep the objective of contributing to local development in the area while  protecting the environment. Organic farming and the strengthening of cooperation with local actors in the Bongolava Region are parts of our main projects.
